ARTICLE 2: OBJECTIVES & CORE PRINCIPLES
2.1 Promotion of the Sport:
To promote, advance, preserve, and strengthen the sport and heritage of pigeon racing in Keelakarai, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, and beyond with honor, discipline, and tradition.
2.2 Integrity in Competition:
To conduct pigeon races, training tosses, long-distance races, open races, club races, and all related events with the highest standards of fairness, transparency, accuracy, and integrity.
Every official result of KPRF must be clear, verifiable, and beyond reproach.
2.3 Pigeon Welfare First:
The health, safety, fitness, and ethical treatment of racing pigeons shall be the non-negotiable top priority of the Federation.
Pigeon welfare shall override every competitive, financial, personal, or administrative interest.
2.4 Unity & Sportsmanship:
To foster a spirit of unity, friendship, sportsmanship, cooperation, and mutual respect among all members, fanciers, loft owners, handlers, and participants.
KPRF shall cultivate a disciplined and united racing community built on respect, trust, and responsible conduct.
Malice, false allegations, groupism, personal attacks, discord, and divisiveness are against the spirit and dignity of the Federation.
2.5 Ethical Stewardship:
To uphold the honor, dignity, and traditions of pigeon racing and to ensure that all KPRF activities remain free from fraud, doping, cheating, manipulation, malpractice, and unethical conduct.
KPRF shall act as a responsible steward of the sport, maintaining zero tolerance for any act that damages fairness, transparency, pigeon welfare, or the reputation of the Federation.
2.6 Transparency & Record Keeping:
To maintain proper records of races, results, schedules, member participation, points, prizes, announcements, and official decisions for the benefit of present and future generations of pigeon racing fanciers.
2.7 Long-Distance Racing Vision:
To encourage and develop disciplined long-distance pigeon racing culture, including extreme-distance racing, with proper planning, responsible race management, and respect for the natural ability and welfare of racing pigeons.
2.8 Federation Motto:
KPRF shall be guided by its official motto:
Every Flight Breaks Limits. Every Return Writes History.
