ARTICLE 13: RACE CONDITIONS, PRIZES & SCHEDULING
13.1 Conduct Authority:
All KPRF races, training tosses, open races, club races, long-distance races, special races, and federation events shall be conducted under the authority of the KPRF Leadership / Supreme Authority, Managing Committee, Race Management Committee, and appointed Race Officials.
The KPRF Leadership / Managing Committee shall have final authority over race dates, race points, liberation points, race categories, entry fees, prize systems, points systems, board timing, race conditions, postponement, cancellation, result approval, and disciplinary decisions.

13.2 Welfare Priority:
The health, safety, and welfare of racing pigeons shall be the highest priority in every KPRF race.
Pigeon welfare and safe liberation shall override:

13.3 Race Categories:
KPRF may conduct different categories of races as decided by the Managing Committee.
Race categories may include:

13.4 Race Scheduling Philosophy:
Race schedules shall be prepared by the KPRF Leadership / Managing Committee after considering:
Every scheduling decision shall be made with discipline, fairness, safety, and pigeon welfare as the guiding principles.

13.5 Release & Weather Safety Protocols:
The Liberation Officer / Race Controller shall have authority to assess weather and release conditions at the liberation point.
Before liberation, the following may be considered:
The liberation decision and important weather notes should be recorded in the official race log wherever practical.

13.6 Force Majeure & Emergency Situations:
KPRF shall not be liable for delay, postponement, modification, cancellation, loss, or inconvenience caused by force majeure or unavoidable circumstances.
Force majeure may include:

13.7 Government Compliance & Legal Requirements:
KPRF shall make reasonable efforts to comply with applicable laws, government directions, animal welfare norms, transport rules, health advisories, local permissions, and public safety requirements wherever applicable.
Members and participants must cooperate with KPRF in relation to permissions, documentation, race transport, liberation point requirements, and any official instruction issued by authorities.
If any government order, police instruction, veterinary advisory, transport restriction, or legal requirement affects a race, the KPRF Leadership / Managing Committee may modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel the race.

13.8 Race Entry Limits:
The Managing Committee may impose minimum or maximum entry limits for any race.
Entry limits may be fixed based on:

13.9 Prize Distribution & Recognition:
Prizes, trophies, cups, certificates, medals, cash awards, special awards, and recognition shall be distributed only according to the official prize system announced by KPRF.
Prizes shall normally be distributed only after the publication and approval of final results.
KPRF may award:

13.10 Club Championship & Open Category:
Club Championship titles, points, and season awards shall be governed by the official KPRF season rules.
Unless otherwise announced:

13.11 Prize Forfeiture & Recovery:
If fraud, doping, cheating, ring tampering, false ownership, timing manipulation, false loft location, hidden affiliation, ineligibility, or any serious rule violation is discovered after prize distribution, KPRF may cancel the result and demand return of:
Failure to return prizes or benefits may result in disciplinary action, recovery proceedings, public correction of records, legal action, or permanent expulsion.

13.12 Uncollected Prizes:
Prizes not collected within ninety (90) days from the official prize distribution date or announcement date may be forfeited to KPRF, unless the Managing Committee grants an extension for valid reasons.
KPRF shall not be responsible for loss, damage, delay, or non-collection of prizes caused by the member’s failure to collect within the permitted time.

13.13 Special Prizes & Sponsored Awards:
KPRF may announce special prizes, sponsored prizes, distance-based prizes, day-return prizes, performance prizes, or memorial awards.
All special prizes shall be subject to the exact conditions announced by KPRF, including race category, eligibility, board timing, arrival day, distance, result type, and verification rules.
A sponsor shall not interfere with result preparation, member eligibility, disciplinary decisions, or official prize approval.

13.14 Modification of Race Conditions:
The KPRF Leadership / Managing Committee may modify race conditions before or during a race if required due to weather, transport, pigeon welfare, route conditions, government restrictions, safety issues, or administrative necessity.
Modifications may include:

13.15 Final Authority on Race Conditions & Prizes:
All race conditions, schedules, prize systems, points systems, championship rules, open category rules, entry limits, and race procedures shall be interpreted and enforced by the KPRF Leadership / Managing Committee.
No member or participant shall claim any prize, point, title, refund, or benefit contrary to the official rules and final decisions of KPRF.
Every participant entering a KPRF race shall be deemed to have accepted all race conditions fully.
Every Flight Breaks Limits. Every Return Writes History.

- Invitation or federation-recognized races

13.4 Race Scheduling Philosophy:

- Pigeon preparation and fitness
- Race distance and difficulty

- Transport availability
- Basket capacity
- Season planning
- Member convenience where practical
- Pigeon welfare and recovery time
Every scheduling decision shall be made with discipline, fairness, safety, and pigeon welfare as the guiding principles.

- Communication failure
- Any other situation beyond the reasonable control of KPRF

- Race-wise winners
- Club result winners
- Open category winners
- Overall result winners
- Season Champion
- Runner-Up
- Third Place
- Best Loft
- Long Distance Champion
- Special performance awards
- Sponsored prizes
- Certificates of participation or achievement

13.10 Club Championship & Open Category:
Club Championship titles, points, and season awards shall be governed by the official KPRF season rules.
Unless otherwise announced:
- KPRF Club Championship points shall be calculated only from official Club Results.
- Only official KPRF Club Members shall be eligible for Club Championship titles.
- Open Category participants shall be eligible only for race-wise Open prizes as announced by KPRF.
- Open Category shall not automatically carry season championship points unless specifically announced by KPRF.
- Club Result, Open Result, Overall Result, points, and prize eligibility shall be clearly decided by the Managing Committee for each season or race.
